Body Language Expert Janine Driver is Chosen as One of Four Judges for MUNCHKIN, INC. SEARCH FOR AMERICA’S BEST STINKY FACE Social Media Contest, which Celebrates Odor Controlling Abilities of the Arm & HammerTM Diaper Pail
As many of you may already know, I’m 27-weeks pregnant with my second baby boy, Charlie Ryan (due August 8th). Recently, I had a 4-D ultrasound picture and video taken of baby Charlie. While my new son was playing with his umbilical cord, he was making the cutest little face, his nose was wrinkled and his lips were pulled in tight. As a body language expert, one of my specialties is spotting micro expressions, but I never thought the day would come where I’d be able to get a little sneak peek into my unborn son’s emotions. See, it doesn’t matter if you are 1, 21, or 91 years old, there are seven universal emotions that we all have: happiness, sadness, fear, surprise, anger, contempt, and disgust, and they show up very similar on each of our faces.
Today, I’d like to talk about the micro expression of “disgust,” which can be spotted when our nose wrinkles and our upper lip pulls up to block out a smell – the same face my unborn baby Charlie flashed for his big 4D photo shoot! Go ahead, imagine smelling a dirty stinky diaper, see your nose just wrinkled into a “stinky face,” right?! Without saying a word, that facial expression of yours revealed more than you think. Now have your little ones, one of your babies or toddlers smell something gross and take a picture of their best “stinky face” and guess what? You can win $1,000 - and I’m one of the four judges!!!
It’s true. You can win Munchkin, Inc.’s, designer and manufacturer of clever infant and toddler products, “Search for America’s Best Stinky Face,” a social media contest designed to reinforce the odor-controlling abilities of the company’s award-winning Arm & HammerTM Diaper Pail.
Yes, parents you are encouraged to share photos of your child’s best “stinky face” for the opportunity to win. Throughout the contest, Munchkin, Inc. will also give away the Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail by Munchkin, which has been proven to be #1 in odor-control in a laboratory test to fans that interact and participate.
“One of the best things about being a parent is witnessing the spontaneous, funny things your child does, like making up words or silly faces. We know parents love to capture and share these moments, so we’re launching the ‘Search for America’s Best Stinky Face’,” said Jeff Kaltreider, vice president of marketing of Munchkin. “This fun campaign underscores the trusted power of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda in preventing unwanted diaper smells, ensuring that stinky faces will never- again be seen in the nursery.”
To enter, contestants are invited to ACT FAST and “like” the Munchkin Facebook page now through June 13 and post a photo or video of their child’s “stinky face.” Following the submission period, five top “stinky face” contenders will be selected by Munchkin’s guest judges (again, I’m one of the judges folks). Facebook fan votes and judge votes combined will determine the grand prize winner. On June 20, America’s Best Stinky Face will be crowned.
To submit your “stinky face” entry, visit Munchkin’s Facebook page or log onto www.Munchkin.com to learn more and be sure to tag me on your post “Janine Driver” so I can see your little bundle of joy, as soon as you post your picture!
